Barangay Ayala Alabang is an outer suburb of Metro Manila in Muntinupa city district in the Philippines around 13 miles from the center of Metro Manila. The upscale neighborhood was created in 1981.
It has an area of appoximately 700 hectares and is bordered by Las Pinas City, Paranaque City, and Bacoor, Cavite. It is connected by a network of 70 kilometeres of concrete roads.
The village is an integrated community, ounded by wo bodies of water, Manila Bay and Laguna Bay.
It is by far bigger than all the primary subdivisions in Makati put together.
An official bird sanctuary, Ayala Alabang Village has more than 60 known species of resident, migrant, or migratory birds that have found their homes in more than 9,000 full-grown trees spread all over the village.It is also home to an estimated population of 27,000 residents, occupying 4,283 homes (as of February 2008) while 90 new homes are under construction.The village has a built-up capacity of close to 5,500 homes.It is self-sufficient in water coming from several deep wells and water reservoirs, and has its own Sewerage Treatment Plant.
Divided into seven (7) districts, Ayala Alabang Village has three main gates all located along Commerce Avenue, namely the Acacia, Madrigal Gate, and Mindanao Gate.With 30% of the village devoted to roads and parks, Ayala Alabang Village has thirteen (13) parks that include children’s playground facilities, and sports facilities such as swimming pools, basketball courts, tennis courts and football fields.
BOUNDARIES
Ayala Alabang is bound by Daang Hari to the West, Alabang-Zapote Road to the North, Filinvest, Palms Pointe, Camella Homes, Mutual Homes, Soldiers Hills and Green Heights to the East, and Katarungan Village to the South.
POPULATION
As of July 2012, Ayala Alabang Village’s popoulation is approximately 40,000.
The population of barangay ayala alabang village is approximately 40,000 and is one of the most developed barangay in the country. Barangay ayala alabang has a lot of places with very nice facilities such as the country club here in ayala alabang village, the commerce center accross wesgate, Alabang town center where you can shop, Asian hospital
The barangay is bounded by two bodies of water, the manila bay and laguna bay. Maynilad is the company that provides all the water and water bills. Usually people order for their drinking water once every 2 weeks ordering about 2-4 bottles. The water supply here is a bit more than average and it is mostly clean.
The population of the barangay is not that populous than of those of the other barangays and much cleaner, eco friendlier, not overpopulated, more quiet, more peaceful, more united, more outgoing, and more fun. The barangay is just as a nice place to live in because of these things given/put here. People usually go to these places and i assume that you would want to go too.
